Friesian Horses 

Mike Daniell's team of horses are pure bred Dutch Friesians. Mike has been driving Friesians for nearly twenty years, bringing horses over from Holland and breaking and schooling them himself.

This breed of horse is almost always pure black: white markings are very uncommon. Typically, they are between 15 and 17 hands high (a hand is four inches, 10 cms and they are measured to the base of their neck).Their proud head-carriage and showy, high-stepping action, combined with their patience, strength, intelligence and kind nature make them popular as riding and driving horses in Europe, the UK and USA.
